Sea Lion Releases, Streams “Big Moon” EP

Sea Lion‘s new EP Big Moon is now available in North American stores via Turnstile, following the Gothenburg, Sweden native’s Cobra Eyes EP as her second release of 2014. A beguiling and dreamy six songs, the Big Moon EP can be streamed in full all week via Noisey.

Sea Lion is the work of Linn Osterberg, who recorded the haunting EP at home, alone in her bedroom. The EP has a fittingly enveloping intimacy, from the coolly moving opener “Heroes” – all organ reverb and flickering electronics – to the spare, affecting title track that highlights Osterberg’s soaring coo, to the gentle and ambient acoustics of closer “Blue Moon.”

Already well under production, the debut album from Sea Lion will be due out in early 2015.
