Sweden’s Alice Boman Releases “Be Mine” Video

Alice Boman’s voice hits with the emotional force and haunting fragility of Nina Simone. Timeless and direct, the Scandinavian singer released her American debut, “EPII” with a special bonus edition of her stunning EP, Skisser, via the Control Group on June 3.

A wistful collection of haunting lo-fi folk pop, EPII was received with critical acclaim, garnering attention from the likes of The New York Times: T Magazine, Bust Magazine, Fader, Filter, Paste, NPR’s All Songs Considered, KEXP, Rookie, Huffington Post, Paste and All Things Go, as well as peaking at No.2 on the Hype Machine artist charts.

This September, the Swede brings her heartbreaking and oddly comforting tunes Stateside, in a series of intimate shows across the country.
