White Arrows Share New Single “I Want A Taste”

The AV Club has premiered the new White Arrows single “I Want A Taste” from the band’s sophomore album In Bardo due in September on Votiv. Additionally, the track streaming at SoundCloud and available to purchase at iTunes. The band also released a visual for “I Want A Taste” which is available to share via YouTube. Fans can check out a behind the scenes look at the recording process for In Bardo.

Bardo is defined as a transitional state of being, the phase of existence between death and rebirth. It marks the end of one thing and the beginning of another. It represents an evolution, which is why the title of White Arrows’ second album, In Bardo, is so appropriate. The Los Angeles indie rock band found themselves in a new plane of being after touring extensively since their inception, hitting the road with bands such as Cults, White Denim, The Naked and Famous, and performing at festivals like Coachella and Sasquatch. The band finally grounded themselves enough to create a cohesive work that reflected the musicians’ present mindset. Songs like “Leave It Alone” represent the musicians’ current mindset and inspirations. For White Arrows, In Bardo is the transition. It marks the end of one thing and the beginning of another.
