Guitar and drums duo, Black Pistol Fire have announced a direct support slot on tour this August with The Toadies. The two Texas based groups will hit the deep-south on a tour commemorating the 20th Anniversary of The Toadies 1994 release, Rubberneck.
Black Pistol Fire will be supporting their celebrated new release, Hush Or Howl out now via Modern Outsider Records. The band musically delivers raucous and electrified delta blues with the crunch and amplitude of a metal band.
While a band for the past several years, 2014 looks to be a break-out year for Kevin McKeown (guitar/vocals) and Eric Owen (drums) of Black Pistol Fire. After a successful tour with Australian hard rock outfit Wolfmother, it was announced that Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips and Billboard Magazine personally selected the band as one of two SonicBids artists to play the Bonnaroo Festival this month.
