Atlanta’s hard rock trio Royal Thunder have announced a US co-headlining tour with O’Brother. The southeast summer excursion will kick off at The Drunken Unicorn in late-July and wrap up in August at Ft Worth Florida’s Propaganda. The tour includes a stop at Macon, GA’s Bragg Jam Music & Arts Festival.
Additionally, Royal Thunder have been confirmed for this year’s Hellfest Festival in France alongside Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Soundgarden and many more! The band will also make an appearance at Azkena Rockfest in Spain with The Scorpions, Blondie, and Violent Femmes to name a few.
Royal Thunder entered the studio this past January to record their highly anticipated sophomore LP and follow-up to 2012’s critically acclaimed debut CVI. The record was tracked at Aria Recording Studio with producer Joey Jones in Marietta, GA and is expected to see a winter release via Relapse Records.
