  • WXPN has announced the lineup for the XPoNential Music Festival taking place Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28 at Camden County, New Jersey’s Wiggins Park and Susquehanna Bank Center.
  • Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are set to headline All Tomorrow’s Parties Iceland in June. The lineup also includes Chelsea Light Moving, The Fall, Deerhoof, The Notwist, Thee Oh Sees, múm, Mugison, Valgeir Sigurðsson and many more.
  • In May, Red Hare will hit the road with Louisville, Kentucky’s Coliseum for a handful of east coast dates, including stops in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and D.C. These shows will coincide with the release of the band’s debut record, Nites of Midnite, which will be out May 21st via Dischord/Hellfire.
  • After making a “splash” several years ago with his Internet program, the “Brownie Troop Fishing Show,” Dean Ween formerly of of famed avant-pop duo Ween got his formal certification as a Captain, then his Master, 100 Ton license and has been offering his services as a fishing guide. Cap’n Ween offers charters on his beloved Delaware River in the Spring, then focuses on the Atlantic Ocean, operating out of Belmar, NJ Spring through the end of the year and then moving to Key West, FL January through March.
  • Scott Lucas & the Married Men are heading out on a spring tour with Empty Mansions, the new band led by Interpol’s Sam Fogarino and featuring Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard, Tomahawk) and Brandon Curtis (Secret Machines). Dates begin April 24th in Washington, DC and include two NYC shows on 4/26 and 4/27. A hometown show is set for May 1st at the Empty Bottle in Chicago.
